Amanda Trimble and Jon-Michael Dannenberg of Dixon announce their engagement to be married on Sept. 8.

Amanda is the daughter of Bob and Sarah Trimble of Fairfield and Susan Trimble of Walnut Creek. She is the granddaughter of Imogene and Carroll Trimble of San Bernardino and Shirley Matheson (deceased). Amanda graduated from DeAnza High School in Richmond in 1997 and got her bachelor's degree in interior design from Sacramento State in May 2006. She is employed by Ware Malcomb of West Sacramento.
Jon-Michael is the son of Betty Dannenberg and Mike Dannenberg, both of Napa. He is the grandson of Carl and May Crump of Trossachs, Saskatchewan (both deceased), and Bud (deceased) and Marge Dannenberg of Dixon. Jon-Michael graduated from Napa High in 1995 and received his bachelor of engineering and his master's of material science from UC Irvine. He works as a development engineer for the Materials Science Department at UC Davis.
