Hidden tire iron sends man to jail

Police responded to a report of a suspicious man in the area of the Laurel Street apartments on Friday.

When they arrived they made contact with Victor Hurtado, police said.
When officers discovered Hurtado was on probation, they searched him and found a tire iron concealed in his pants, police said.

Hurtado, 22, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a concealed weapon and violation of probation.
