Wow! When I wrote my letter “Who to believe on climate change?” (March 28), I didn’t realize I would be honored with a vigorous reply from the “media specialist” of the Heartland Institute’s head office in Chicago (“Straight from the Heartland,” April 1).

Dear editor, To restore the rule of law to the American democracy, it is absolutely necessary for the people and their representatives to use the full power of the U.S. judicial system to investigate, indict, prosecute, convict and incarcerate all members of the Bush administration for purposefully fabricating a non-existent threat and defrauding the United States Congress into an unnecessary war of aggression. These people must pay for the loss of American lives and their crimes against humanity.
