A 44-year-old Napa man jumped off the First Street overpass onto Highway 29 Sunday morning and lost his life, according to the Napa Police Department.

Emergency response drill on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Napa Valley Unified School District and the Napa County Office of Education will hold an internal emergency response drill. The drill will test the preparedness of both NVUSD and NCOE to respond to a major system-wide disaster, such as an 8.0 magnitude earthquake.
