A front page story on April 13 about local banks misstated two facts about Napa Community Bank.

The bank was started with $8.5 million in capital, not deposits. In addition, the story stated that at the time the bank started, Michigan-based Capital Bancorp had an option that would allow it to acquire a majority of shares in the bank. In fact, Capital held slightly more than half the shares at the time of the launch.
