Meth arrest near Berryessa

A traffic stop turned into a drug arrest along Highway 128 in Lake Berryessa early Sunday morning.

Napa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Keith Harvest, 39, of Vallejo, on suspicion of possession and transportation of methamphetamine.

Harvest was driving west along the highway when a deputy pulled him over for a traffic violation Sgt. Doug Pace said. During the stop, a police dog sniffed the scent of drugs coming from the vehicle.

When the deputy found 10 grams of meth when he searched the car and took Harvest to jail.
