James and Gloria (Thompson) Frame of Dumas, Texas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 17 at Marie Callender's with a luncheon party for family and friends given by their daughter and son-in-law. Their son drove out from Texas to attend and visit his grandmother Juanita Kennedy.

The couple was married on March 17, 1957, in Napa.
Gloria enjoys singing in the church choir, playing bridge, singing at rest homes and doing plastic canvas crafts. She retired from the Fairfield school cafeteria after 17 years.

James enjoys playing trumpet, playing bridge and singing at rest homes, and he cleans church buses. He retired from the Mare Island Shipyard after 33 years.
James and Gloria are the parents of Melody Rondeau of San Jose and Steven Frame of Dumas, Texas. They have two grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
