Fifty years to the day, on Saturday March 17, 2007, Patrick and Carol Timmons celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Napa. In 1956, when Patrick was in the Navy, he met Carol, who was working at Mare Island Navy Yard. They were married at St. John's Catholic Church in Napa on March 17, 1957.

Pat and Carol's four children, along with their spouses, Marc Timmons, Paula and Tab Borge, Mike and Laurie Timmons and Jim Timmons hosted a dinner for about 90 friends and family at Riverpoint Resort. Their grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Kevin and Michelle Timmons and Tristan Borge joined them in the celebration. Special guests for this occasion were Pat's family, who were unable to attend the wedding 50 years ago. His sister, Eileen Sherred, from Pennsylvania; his brother, Jack Timmons, and his wife, Beverly, from Arkansas; and his sister, Ann Diaz, with her husband, Jim, and their daughter, Lari, from San Francisco all attended. The evening ending with a toast to their 50 years and cutting of the cake.
