A gun-toting robber made off with cash after he walked into a service station, pointed the handgun at the clerk and demanded money, police said.

The armed robbery happened around 9:30 p.m., Thursday at the Shell service station on Soscol Avenue, north of Imola Avenue.
The gunman was dressed in dark clothing and wearing a black ski mask, Napa Police Sgt. Paul Paniagua said.

The robber and gunman were the only two in the store, Paniagua said.
The man took the cash, fled the store on foot and was last seen running north on Soscol Avenue.

The clerk was not hurt.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Napa police at 253-4451.
