Janette Lynn Martinez and Barry Craig Macler of Napa announce their engagement to be married on June 10 in Napa.

Janette is the daughter of Gary Field of Miles City, Mont., and Eva Massenzi of Fresno. She graduated from South High School in Sheboygan, Wis., in 1980. Janette grew up in Napa Valley, moved to Sheboygan Wis., in 1978, lived there for eight years, then moved to Medford, Ore., for six years and served with the Medford Sheriff's Department. In 1994, she moved back to Napa and is employed with the Napa County Child Support Services.
Barry is the son of the late Lee and Jean Macler. He graduated from Napa High School in 1976 and earned a vocational degree from Merit College in 1979. Barry grew up in the Napa Valley and began his floor covering career in 1976 as a union member until 1981. He then obtained a flooring license and has been contracting in the Napa Valley ever since, working primarily with Carpet One, Custom Floors.
