Katie Wignall of Fairfield and Fausto Buccianti of Milan, Italy, announce their engagement to be married in Fairfield in the spring.

Katie is the daughter of John and Terri Wignall of Fairfield and granddaughter of Helen Cornelius of Capitola. She graduated from Will C. Wood in 2003 and received a bachelor’s degree in international studies — political science from UC San Diego in 2007.

Fausto is the son of Riccardo and Serena Buccianti of Milan, Italy. He graduated from Liceo Classico Parini in 2000 and from Istituto Universitario Di Lingue Moderne in 2003. Fausto is president of Lasergraph in Milan, Italy.
