Koroknay-Dalton
Kristina Koroknay and Chris Dalton of American Canyon were married on Sept. 23, 4 p.m., at Maui Prince Hotel, Makena, Maui Hawaii.
This destination wedding was attended by 23 of the couple's family and friends. The ceremony included a traditional Hawaiian lei exchange and Hawaiian prayer at a beach-front location with great weather. Doves were also released. The bride's mom and brother walked her down the aisle.
Although there were no "official" bridesmaids and groomsmen, the couple's closest friends were in attendance: Michelle Bell, Veronica Willingham, Amber Stevenson and Kelli Iverson; and Butch Devaney, David Willingham, Steve Stevenson and Tim Iverson.
A reception was held at Maui Prince Hotel. The couple honeymooned for three days after the wedding in Maui.
The bride is the daughter of Virginia Koroknay of American Canyon and the late Patrick Koroknay. She is the granddaughter of Caesar and Hazel Bertagna of Napa, and the late Alice Koroknay of Kelseyville. She is a 1998 graduate of Vintage High School, and she graduated from the University of Phoenix with a B.S. in business management. Kristina is employed by Napa City-County Library as senior office assistant.
The groom is the son of Robert and Carol Dalton of Vacaville. He graduated from Vanden High School in Fairfield in 1997 and is a senior assistant store manager at America's Tire Co., Napa.
The couple makes their new home in American Canyon.
