Teen concert series kicks off at Club 1515

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley and Friday Night Live will host monthly concert series for local high school students beginning Friday night at Club 1515, the Teen Center at the Boys & Girls Club

Performing at the first Band Night are Nana de Carlo, Taking Aim and the Butter Cream Gang, all homegrown rock groups made up of current and former Vintage High students.
In addition, a Vintage High hip-hop duo that goes by the name the Corbet Court Cillas —   CCC for short —  and DJ Serge of San Francisco will contribute a short set between bands. 

Organizers said each month they will invite three new bands will be invited to perform at Club 1515 to provide school-aged musicians with an opportunity to perform for their peers and will give older musicians an opportunity to build a teen fan base. 
Napa County Friday Night Live members have been invited to participate planning Band Nights at Club 1515. This group of local high school students will recruit bands, select each month’s line-up, prepare and distribute promotional materials and staff the concerts. 

Admission to Band Night at Club 1515 is $3. Band Night at Club 1515 is for high school students only; all attendees must have a valid high school I.D. to be admitted. Club 1515 is in the lower level of the Boys & Girls Club at 1515 Pueblo Ave., Napa. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the concert will run until 10:15. Ins and outs will not be permitted.
