A traffic stop in Calistoga ended with the arrest of two out-of-county suspects.

Late Monday night, officers stopped a car on Lake Street, Chief Jonathan Mills said.
A search of the vehicle turned up stolen mail, he said. “The mail had Napa County addresses on it.”

Dana Buntjer, 53, of Santa Rosa and Michael Conley, 21, of Sebastopol, were arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property.

" This has happened to me. We run a business and received payment in our mail. This is not the first time but, on Saturday night (late) on of my clients got a phone call from a guy that said he was one of my neighbors and got a check in his mail box for us, instead of bringing it to us he opened it and called my client and said I got a check for Bush Factory in my mail box and she said well then why don't you take it to them or mail it back to me. But she and I are thinking "Why did he open the mail?" This is strange and she has stoped payment on the check. "

" FYI It is a Federal offense punishable up to 10 years in state prison and a hefty fine for anyone to open anyone else's mail. This person you spoke of could be arrested!! "
