This past December, 10 applicants, myself included, vied for three vacant positions on the Napa Planning Commission (“10 vie for spots on Napa Planning Commission,” Dec. 11).

In the end, even the jurors believed that I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby was a fall guy for his more savvy and connected colleagues in the White House, many of whom tried to use elite members of the media to cut the legs out from under an outspoken critic of the Bush administration’s Iraq war policy.

Dear editor, This letter goes out to all of you who participated at any level with the magical performances of “The Music Man.”

Dear editor, From this day forward, I do not want to hear a word from the liberal media about the so-called “separation of church and state.”

Dear editor, Supervisor Diane Dillon’s criticism of the Angwin Eco-Village is surprising in that it readily dismisses our neighbors’ request to help shape the project.
