Two men ended up behind bars after a marijuana buy went sour.

Four males, ages 17-20, went to a residence on Alta Loma Drive to purchase $20 worth of pot, according to American Canyon Police Sgt. Craig Nickles.
They were told they would have to go to another home in American Canyon to get the marijuana, Nickles said.

When they arrived at the house, Robert Warren Rush took the $20 and went into the house where Kristofer Niezgoda was staying.
When Rush didn’t return with the pot, the four males confronted Rush and Niezgoda. Rush began punching and kicking the four males, Nickles said. The victims suffered injuries, including a broken nose and eye socket, he said.

The victims notified police, who arrested Niezgoda and Rush.
Rush, 20, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Niezgoda, 19, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy.

" And what of the idiots trying to buy the pot???? I guess the beating was enough? Seem to me you deal with criminals and you get what you deserve.... "
