Beginning this week, readers will see several changes in the print edition of the Napa Valley Register.

Based upon recent reader feedback and responses to two readership surveys, we’re making these changes to serve you better.
For the first time this week, we are publishing a National and International news page on the front of the B section. Look for this page to digest the top news from beyond Napa County seven days a week.

Our business coverage now runs inside Section A, on the Business Day page. Throughout the week, look for popular features including “10 Questions for ...” and “Business Buzz,” along with columns by Tom Mills, Paul Franson, Calvin Ross, Rosie McNichol and Len Tillem.
The daily listing of winning California lottery numbers appears on page A2 every day.

Obituaries now appear on page B2 instead of page C2.
Weather forecasts and temperatures appear on page B4 instead of page D4.

Later this week, you will see our Friday Outdoors page shift from section C to the sports section, and our weekly section On Wine move from Thursdays to Fridays.

USA Weekend magazine will arrive with the Sunday Register, instead of the Saturday edition.

Today, we launch a new pet feature called “Pic o’ the Litter.” Look for it on page C1.

Later this month, look for more changes, including a new column called “Senior Corner” and a monthly contest for eagle-eyed readers who know their way around Napa County.

" Now if you'd only add a police log...it's OK, we know there is crime in Napa. No need to hide it from us anymore. The tourists know about it too, so don't worry, it won't scare them. "
