David Bissell

NAPA - David Arthur Bissell, 69, born Jan. 28, 1938, in Napa, passed away at his home in Napa on Jan. 17, 2007.

He attended Napa High School and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and he worked for 20 years as a music teacher, most of those years in Yuba City.

Mr. Bissell is survived by his wife, Gwyneth Bissell; daughter Connie Bryant of Kennewick, Wash.; grandchildren Micheal, David, Cameron and Tenaya; brother Charles Bissell of Ford, Wash.; and sister Charlotte Gosling of Angwin. He is preceded in death by parents Keith and Marion Bissell and brothers Edwin Bissell and Keith Bissell Jr.

A memorial service will be held March 2 at noon at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 1917 Third St., Napa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Napa Valley or St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
