Leah Marie Captanian, originally from Angwin, and Scott Cameron Bronson were married Sept. 23, 4 p.m., at Unity Center, Hamilton Field, Novato. The ceremony was outdoors and featured a string ensemble. There was an indoor buffet dinner and slide show of the bride and groom's childhood years, following by dancing with a band and DJ under an indoor canopy and outdoor seating and cocktails under the stars.

The maid of honor was the bride's cousin, Heather Gellert. Bridesmaids were Nicole Captanian, Alexis Captanian, Jennifer Bronson, Meg Riley, Madeline Lindquist, Julie True and, originally from Napa Valley, Bridgett Rohan and Carli Giehm.
The best man was Chris Keane, and the ushers were John McCardle Jr., O'Neil Marovich, Tim Fewell, Dave Basso, Landon Gellert, Ryan Gellert and Gavin Madden.

Kate Riley, the groom's niece, was the flower girl, and Jack Riley, the groom's nephew, was the ring bearer.
The couple honeymooned for two weeks in Kailua Bay, Oahu, Hawaii.

The bride is the daughter of Jacqueline and Barry Captanian of Angwin and granddaughter of Phyllis and Joey Zaumbuto (both deceased), who lived in Calistoga for 30 years until 1998 and then in Santa Rosa until 2005. She graduated from St. Helena High School in 1997 and received her bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University at Chico in 2002. She is employed by a mortgage company in Novato.
The groom is the son of Jean and John McCardle of Sausalito and grandson of Dorothy Bronson. He graduated from Marin Catholic High School in 1994 and attended community colleges and California State University at San Francisco for four years as a sociology major. He is the JV basketball and varsity volleyball coach at high schools in Marin and is employed by a mortgage company in Marin.

The couple makes their new home in Larkspur.
