SF Orchid Society hosts 'Fantasia'

The San Francisco Orchid Society presents the 55th Pacific Orchid Exposition, "Orchid Fantasia," featuring more than 150,000 orchids, from all over the globe, in every color, shape and size Feb. 15-18 at Fort Mason Center's Festival Pavilion in San Francisco.

More then 50 nurseries will be displaying rare breeds and hybrid forms, and giving orchid lovers the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind treasures.

The 2007 San Francisco Orchid Society's Pacific Orchid Exposition will offer tours, educational demonstrations. Preview Night on Thursday, 6:30 -10 p.m. includes appetizers and an array of local wines.

Other hours are Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Feb. 17, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Feb. 18 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for Preview Night are $30 in advance, $35 at the door.
