The Napa City-County Library Commission holds its regular public meeting Monday at 4 p.m., in the Yountville Library, 6548 Yount St., Yountville.

NVUSD open enrollment

Ambassadorial Scholarship

The North Napa Rotary Club is accepting applications for the "Ambassadorial Scholarship Award," which allows the recipient to study abroad and be an ambassador of good will. Barks and Books

The Napa City-County Library's free reading program, Barks and Books, offers children 7 to 12 the opportunity to read to a gentle certified therapy dog provided by Paws For Healing. Look good ... feel better

The American Cancer Society and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church offer the community ACS's Look Good ... Feel Better program. This is a free service that teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help restore their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Grief Support Groups

Hospice of Napa Valley offers grief support groups for Napa County residents. Relay for Life fund raiser

Wildlife Rescue Center

Volunteers are needed to take one three-hour shift a week throughout the season at the Wildlife Rescue Center of Napa Valley. The season runs from early May through late August. Responsibilities involve cleaning and feeding young songbirds. Cherry Pie bicycle race

Today, bicycle racers from throughout Northern California and Nevada will participate in the Cherry Pie Criterium, presented by the Eagle Racing Team of Napa. The event runs on a one-mile closed loop at the southern end of the Napa Valley Corporate Park. The start/finish line is on Napa Valley Corporate Drive near the grape press statue, accessible with free parking from Soscol Ferry Road. Folk Dance Festival

The Sweetheart Folk Dance Festival will be held at the Napa Valley College today, 1:30-5 p.m. in the dance studio, room 601A. There will be six types of dancing and dances from 15 countries. Miss Napa County

Tickets are on sale for the Miss California Program, slated for June in Fresno. Family violence prevention vigil

The Family Violence Prevention Vigil is on Channel 28 Saturdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 10 p.m. during February. The vigil featured speakers and inspiring success stories told by survivors in their own words, Napa High School Chamber Choir and Napa Valley Taiko drummers.

Arty 'Party' Reyes

Join Arty "Party" Reyes along with co-host George the Barber and the Hollywood Homegirl for a fun-filled live 90-minute variety show reaching out to Napa and American Canyon.
