Jenny Rement King and David Lee Bryant III, both of San Diego, announce their engagement to be married in Napa Valley in the fall.

Jenny is the daughter of George and Debbie King, both of Napa. Her grandparents are Richard and Helen Rement and Beryl King and the late George King Sr. of Napa. She graduated from Napa High School in 2003 and plans to receive her bachelor's degree in child and family development from San Diego State University in May. Jenny plans to continue her education and earn her teaching credential.
David is the son of Dave and Julie Bryant, both of Napa. He is the grandson of Donald Bendowski and the late Vicki Bendowski and the late David and Alene Bryant. He graduated from Vintage High School in 2001. He is a room service assistant manager at Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.

The romantic proposal took place on the beach at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa at a surprise dinner on Jan. 3, where they dined under the stars.
