Jennifer Carte and Erich Jinks, both of Napa, were married on Sept. 28 at Robinson Family Vineyard. The date was chosen because it is the birthday of the bride's paternal grandfather, who passed away in 2002.

The ceremony, which was written by the bride and groom, was performed by the Rev. Erwin Bollinger, emeritus, of the First Presbyterian Church of Napa, who also performed the ceremony that married the bride's parents 30 years ago.
The matron of honor was Sandra Borja. Bridesmaids were Dana Lajon and Hanna Jinks. The best man was Jason Schneider and the groomsman was Jordan Jinks. Flower girls were Devon Duplantis and Alisha Ciluffo and ring bearers were Jean Duplantis and Anthony Schneider.

The ceremony and the reception both took place in the beautiful setting of Robinson Family Vineyards. The setting was heightened by the amazing floral arrangements done by Mimi Abbott and Marilyn Dennis of Seasons Floral Design here in Napa. The arrangements were filled with beautiful flowers in autumn colors, fruits and even grapes from the very vineyards where the bride and groom exchanged their vows. The atmosphere was amazing and was made even more wonderful by the smells that intoxicated everyone from the amazing dinner that was served. The dinner, with choices of tri-tip, pork and chicken with elegant salads and vegetables that everyone indulged in, was prepared by Napa's own Missing Rib BBQ. The chef and owner is the bride's father, Jim Carte.
The couple honeymooned at Walt Disney World for six days and Pennsylvania for four days.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Sandy Carte of Napa. She is the granddaughter of Art and Barbara Allen of Napa and Florence and Jim (deceased) Carte of Napa. She graduated from Justin-Siena High School in 2000. The bride is a third-generation member of N.S.D.A.R., the vineyard trails chapter.
The groom is the son of Ed and Lisa Jinks of Napa. He is the grandson of George and Ruth Jinks of Napa and Everett and Janet Barney of Providence, Utah. He graduated from New Technology High School in 2000. The groom has owned Erich's Tech Help, a computer repair and technology assistance company here in Napa, for the past five-and-a-half years.
