Walt and Joan (McMullen) Jinks of Napa celebrated 50 years of marriage Dec. 16. The first part of December, they were accompanied by friends on a Mexican Riviera cruise. On Dec. 16, they had a family dinner party at Don Giovanni's.

Walt and Joan were married at the Presbyterian Church in Calistoga on Dec. 16, 1956. Walt was born and raised in Napa and Joan was born and raised in Calistoga. They have lived their married life in Napa.
They have had their business B&B Concrete Company in Napa since 1961. Joan was the bookkeeper for their business along with working in medical offices for a number of years.

For hobbies, Joan enjoys doing genealogy, bowling and playing Mah Jongg.
After retirement, Walt is finding he just doesn't have enough time to do all the things that he enjoys. They both enjoy traveling in their motor coach to a variety of destinations.

Their children are Tim (Jane) of Livermore, Rob (Joann) of Napa and Stacy (John) Cox of Oakland. They also enjoy their six grandchildren, Brandy, Colton, Ian, Tyler, Dylan and Megan.
