Democrats to view State of the Union

Democrats of Napa Valley invites all to its opening salon on Jan. 23, starting at 5 p.m., to watch the State of the Union Address of President George W. Bush and the Democratic response and then discuss them.
Donation of $15 includes a light dinner and two glasses of wine or other beverage. The monthly salons will continue throughout the year at the Democrats of Napa Valley Headquarters, 1015 Coombs Plaza in Napa Town Center. Come to evenings of insights, opinion and progressive ideas and ideals featuring videos, films or other media.

Oh, rats!

The Register is compiling a story about Napa Valley residents who’ve had rats, mice, raccoons, squirrels and other wild invaders in their homes.
