William "Bill" Howden and Candiss Pridmore, both of Napa, announce their engagement to be married in May 2007 in Napa.

Candiss is the daughter of Darryl and Debbie Pridmore of Napa, and granddaughter of Clint and Nancy Pridmore of Napa and Jean Cox of Napa. She graduated from Napa High School in 2003 and is employed by Morgan Lane Real Estate as a Realtor.

Bill is the son of Jeff and Karen Howden of Napa. He graduated from Napa High School in 2002 and works as a pipeline operator at Kinder Morgan in Concord.
