Vocal concert coming to Napa Valley College

Students in the Napa Valley College commercial, intermediate and advanced voice classes will present a vocal concert 8 p.m. Saturday in the NVC Theater.

Directing the student performance are instructors Vaida Falconbridge and Dr. Eve-Anne Wilkes. Nancy Hayashibara will accompany the performers on piano.

The students perform a wide variety of music with selections from movies, musicals, classical, folk and pop music with songs such as “The Shadow of Your Smile,” “Second Hand Rose,” “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “Dance With My Father,” “The Great Mandella,” “Music of the Night,” “I Believe” and “They Can’t Take That Away From Me.”

Admission and parking is free. The theater is at 2277 Napa-Vallejo Highway, Napa. Call 259-8077.
