Mitchell-Longoria
Kristen Mitchell and Joseph Longoria of Napa were married Aug. 5, 2006, at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church.
The bride's sister Alison Maddox was the matron of honor and her bridesmaids were Brittany Stewart, the bride's longtime friend, Jennifer Meno, the groom's sister and Sarah Henshaw, friend of the bride. Vannesa Meno, the groom's niece, was the junior bridesmaid.
Jason Longoria, the groom's brother, was the best man and the groomsmen were Tony Houser, the groom's longtime friend, Benjamin Maddox, the bride's brother-in-law and Mike Pola, the groom's friend. Kristina Meno, the groom's niece, and Emily Maddox, the bride's niece, were the flower girls. The bride's nephew, Brenton Maddox, was the ring bearer.
The couple held their reception at the Embassy Suites Hotel and honeymooned in Maui for 10 days.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Debra Mitchell of Napa. Kristen graduated from Vintage High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor's degree in health sciences from Sacramento State in 2006. She is employed by Queen of the Valley Hospital.
The groom is the son of Marc and Terry Longoria of Napa and the grandson of Jim and Joan Murphy. He graduated from New Technology High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Sacramento State in 2006. He is employed by the Napa Valley Country Club.
The couple make their new home together in Sacramento.
