Running to success
Dear editor, On Wednesday, Oct. 18, St. John the Baptist Catholic School held its annual Jog-a-Thon fundraiser.
The sun was shining, music was playing and there was pride in the air. Our school children completed more than 6,500 laps, consumed 82 gallons of water and raised over $25,000 for our school. The contributions made to this fun-filled and important event are very much appreciated. With the support of our teachers, parents and the local community, St. John’s is able to offer scholarships and enrichment programs in a unique educational and faith-filled environment.
We acknowledge and thank our supporters for their generosity.
