CommentTarget presents checks to schools
On Monday at Shearer Elementary School, representatives from Target presented an oversized check to the school in the amount of $332.68, during a PTA meeting. On Tuesday, they presented Phillips Edison School, with a check in the amount of $276.38, during the school's flag salute. They will be giving an additional check of $460.35 to Alta Heights Elementary, totaling $1,069.41 for local schools on behalf of Target. Target customers designated these schools to be recipients of 1 percent of the amount charged using their Target Visa or Target credit card./Register
