An invasion, not an economic question

The Register has done it again. On the front page of the Sept. 28 edition, it has pushed illegal immigration as being necessary for the livelihood of the wine industry, it makes stealing IDs an acceptable practice, and honors management companies for skirting the law.

If ever in my life have I seen a paper stoop so low, this is it. To use the front page for exploiting corruption is at a level that I would expect from Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez.
Let's start with a little horse sense and look at the Constitution. Article IV, section four, states, "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion..." If 11 million illegal aliens don't qualify as an invasion, then we are in real sad shape. Senators Boxer and Feinstein should be tried for treason in their part in the Senate amnesty bill. Local governments have to take action, as did the Hazleton, Pa. City Council. Their Illegal Immigration Relief Act revokes the business licenses of companies that employ illegal immigrants; imposes $1,000 fines on landlords who rent to illegal immigrants, and makes English the official language of the city. This is what Napa should do.

According to the Register article, if illegal immigrants were forced to leave the valley, no one would be available to harvest the grapes and machines would have to be used. You really have to be a total idiot to believe that line of bull. Long before illegal immigration became an issue, grapes were picked and wine was produced. It's simple math: Supply equals demand. If the demand for labor goes down, the price goes down. If the demand for labor goes up, the price goes up. Grape growers are living a good life with cheap labor and sticking the taxpayers with the cost of taking care of the illegal workers.
Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich said the financial drain of illegal immigration is "catastrophic," costing Los Angeles County nearly $1 billion annually. Here in Napa, the Mexican drug cartels have moved in. Diseases that were considered nonexistent are now showing up because of illegal entry. The taxpayers have to pay for bulging schools, their free medical care, and extra police to cut the drug gangs. They desecrate the American flag and place it upside-down. Last year, fliers offering free medical exams were passed out in all the schools here with a logo showing the Mexican flag to the left and in front of the American flag. The American flag must appear to the observer's left and in front of any other flag. This shows how little our schools know about America or how much they don't care. Our mayor is also an accomplice for helping the illegal movement bring down our city. Her public cry for amnesty is intended to produce a future voter base of low-skilled workers. With little or no education, these workers know nothing of a constitutional republic. The only thing the workers know is which candidate has a Mexican name. Our government will then be as corrupt as Mexico's.

The Register paints a beautiful picture of an immigrant and lets you believe they are sweet and nice.
You should know that most illegal immigrants do not want to be American; they are here because the Mexican government has forced them out of work. Because of that, they are converting the border states into an extension of Mexico. A sign by Mexican protesters in Southern California reads, "If you think I'm illegal because I'm Mexican, learn the true history, because I'm in my homeland." This is what they teach in Mexico and what they believe here. They refuse to learn English and expect the taxpayers to pay for having everything in Spanish for their convenience.

The Register considers management companies that hire illegal immigrants as doing things the American way. This type of thinking comes from people that continually break the law and thus think it is the norm when others break the law. I am beginning to think someone higher up in the Register management is a Council of Foreign Relations member. The CFR, with President Bush as a front man, has launched the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America through the commerce department without Congressional approval. The result is a union with Mexico and Canada with no borders, similar to the EU. As planned, the CFR is using its membership to promote open borders so a smooth entry into the union can occur. This is treason, big time.

If the Register wanted a real front-page story about illegal immigration, it should show why the American people are up in arms over this issue. It is an invasion and should be presented that way.

" Boy Don Snyder, have you hit it squarely on the nose. I've been thinking that California has been going through the invasion of the body-snatchers type scenario, where aliens come in and occupy and direct their bodies -- certainly sounds like much of California, so I find it hopeful, refreshing, and American to hear there is still life in those who share my state. Thank you for your voice, please continue to use it -- loud and clear, like the bell of freedom. Use it, or lose it. We American citizens are being trained, sued, brain-washed into being so politically correct, while illegals can come in and do whatever the hell they want .. including trying to change our laws to their benefit. Continue with your outcry, I am doing the same. Thank you. "

" Vote out Feinstein and Boxer. They both voted for the treasonous amnesty bill. Also Fabian Nunez, speaker of the House of the California Assembly, has been photographed pledging allegiance to the Mexican flag a couple of years ago. "

" The wine industry and mayor should know they are furthering the end of the United States as we know it by allowing: 1. This uncontrolled illegal immigration to continue. 2a. Do you know about the CFR and the North American Union? 2b. Do you care in the least what happens to our constitution if this North American Union is formed? 3. Don't our schools know the difference between right and wrong as well? What's up with placing the Mexican flag first? I say to the mayor/Chamber of Commerce/Wine/Farm Industry: 1. Follow the Laws of the United States. 2. Do you care so little about your fellow citizens after 9/11 that you will allow to this to continue unabated? Do you know that there are OTMs (Other than Mexicans) who crossed these borders as well? 3. END THE CORPORATE PERSONHOOD LAW. Do you know about the Plan de Aztlan and the Mexica Movement and the Plan de San Diego? It is "Claimed" that the Plan de Aztlan is a hate-mongering plan raised by "Rednecks." NO....look up the website of LA VOZ DE AZTLAN and run a Google on Aztlan Maps. Oh...they also did a little change on the IWO JIMA picture----Mexicans raising the Mexican Flag dressed in sombreros and panchos. Wouldn't this IWO JIMA picture bother you just a little? (Clint Eastwood should check that out). Please read La Plan de San Diego. Finally: Doesn't all this bother you the least little bit that: 1. A lot of OUR National Guards are overseas? Or some are bribed by drug cartels. 2. That our Government would punish 2 honest National Guards (CAMPEON & RAMOS) who shot at a Drug Runner who is now going to sue us!?? 3. AND--Exactly who is going to defend our sorry rears when our borders are left wide open? To those who aren't observant: That means that even with all the Orwellian Blather on Terrorism (but our Guv is leaving our borders wide open) and with the above-mentioned hostility, we are very, very VULNERABLE.....but almost nobody seems to notice or care. " Don, Thank you for a factual report, one which identifies illegal immigration for what it really is, an invasion of uneducated people displaced here by the Mexican government in order to rape the U.S. Government with the blessings of the current Administration and politicians throughout the U.S.. We need more honest reporting such as this so that those Americans who have had their heads stuck in the sand over this issue, and have been buying the lies told to them by our own Government, wake up and take a stand on this issue. For too many decades, the U.S.Citizens have been tolerant and compassionate. That tolerance and compassion has been exploited by both the Mexican and U.S. Governments. It is time for a serious change and that change will only come from the actions of the American people because it is clear that our leaders have abandoned us. "

" Massive mind-blowing illegal immigration is a dagger aimed at the heart of U.S. citizenship, sovereignty, and the rule of law. Giving legal status to millions of foreigners who have violated our immigration and labor laws through a so-called guest-worker program makes as much sense as pouring gasoline on a blazing fire. "

" Mr. Snyder, you have stated our illegal immigration woes accurately. I have been an active letter writer over 10 years to elected officials and others about the invasion and colonization of foreigners into our cities and towns. Ten years, and it has only gotten worse! I always thought a foreign invasion was a cause for war! All patriotic citizens MUST speak out loud and clear to those we elected and who are supposed to be working for the American people--do what is right for America! Vote Senators D.Feinstein out in Nov. and next election vote B. Boxer out. Their record on illegal immigration is dismal to say the least. It is a fact that activist Mexicans have visions of "reconquista" in their heads. Wake up America!! "

Vote EVERY SINGLE PANDERING politician OUT OF OFFICE! "

" Thank God I am seeing universal agreement with the Don Snyder on this article. It is indeed time to stop the passive observance of our country being taken away from us by uneducated, illegal, freeloaders that don't appreciate our kindness. Instead, they accuse us of being racist if we do not lay down and accept their invasion. As stated in the article, many of these invaders truly believe they will take over the southwest. Not to mention that we have major issues with such gangs a MS-13, and Latin Kings around the country. This is an outrage and is a threat to our society and well being. Please educate all your friends and family that may not be aware of the severity of the situation and encourage them to vote for the candidate that does not pander to invaders. "

" Don Snyder, you are correct. As a legal immigrant from Central America, I can say that the Mexican immigration population who are here illegally are here for thenmselves, and for Mexico. Yes. A slice of the american public, heart warming liberal, open minded 60's hippies, have opened the floodgates to Mexico and they are pouring in by the thousand to take root in the heartland of America wihout regard for the American republic or democracy. American has opended the back door and you are witnessing the groundswell of opposition to the protection of your cultural and social identity. They flat out decounce America. The public needs to understad this one issue -- they hate America. They are only here for themselves on a free ride, and for Mexico. Mexico is what is importnt to them -- not America or the rest of us a nation. Thats why you see them with hats, shirts, tattoo, letterring on their cars, flags, shouts, and on and on -- about Mexico. Just ask them yourself -- they tell you without any hesitation. They have be taught to love Mexico since they were in diapers feeding off carnitas and menudo. Take a hardlook in the mirror America and wake up to the slow destruction of our nation. !! Don Snyder is correct. "

" The state of California is bankrupt thanks to illegal immigrants and their children. 106 new school need to be built in the LA area to accomidate the invaders. That means 10 billion of our hard-earned money needs to be raised in bonds. Will the mexicans pay for this? Of course not, you and I are raped--while the business elite and unlicsenced contractors exploit slave labor for profit. Illegal immigration will only increase, and with it: more crime, more poverty and bankruptcy. "
