More cooking with Cole
Those not fortunate enough to be in Greg Cole’s cooking class at Napa Valley Language Academy will have an opportunity to work with the chef Oct. 28 at Copia when he discusses how to select a great steak.
Cole, owner of the premium steakhouse in town, Cole’s Chop House, will talk about the choices available to beef eaters these days, and lead participants through a comparative tasting of grass-fed and corn-fed beef. He’ll share his recommendations — economical, ecological and gastronomical — for buying and serving steak.
The class, which runs from 1 to 2:30 p.m., includes wine pairings. The cost is $35, which includes admission to Copia. To register, call Copia at 259-1600. /Register
