Outdoors: Napa County wildlife funds
Every year between $10,000 and $25,000 is available for wildlife related projects in Napa County from the fine money paid for Department of Fish and Game infractions. More is collected, but a percentage is given back to area groups who qualify. The Napa County Wildlife Commission meets several times each year and usually in the fall it reviews all the requests and does its best to satisfy the financial hopes of nonprofit service groups.
