Organizers say the Rock of Ages Christian festival, which last year attracted about 15,000 people, will be even bigger this year when it takes place Saturday at the Napa County Fairgrounds from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.

From the first event seven years ago, it’s just kept growing, said Ray Centanni, of High Christian Fellowship church in Calistoga, which sponsors the event. “This year we’ll have swing and rap music, a skateboard park, a motorcycle thrill show, food vendors, missionary information and a youth tent. There is something for all.”
Centanni said his 150 member church gets support from “a lot of other churches” to pull the event off.

The music, he said, is “for every generation.”
Among the performers are Denver & the Mile High Orchestra, a 15 piece swing band that “brings you back to the ‘40s and ‘50s  style with music and lyrics of the 21st century, and Salvador, a Hispanic band that has a song “Heaven” in “the top slots of national radio now.”  They will do much of their set in Spanish.

" Where is the rock band. I thought this was called "rock" of ages, not rap of ages. "
