Built at the site of a former house on First Street near Warren Street, Queen Anne Court is an infill development of three single-family detached custom homes in Old Town Napa.
Vacant since the early 1990s when the original small stucco cottage was bulldozed, the landowner hoped to build low income housing on the plot. After plans changed, architect/innkeeper Chris Craiker bought the property in 1998.
Craiker, onetime owner of the 1801 Inn on Jefferson, designed a Victorian style bed and breakfast for the site. After construction costs rose, Craiker sold the project to Mike and Bonnie Rice of Miller-Sorg Group, to build the three homes.
Traditional in style and plan, the houses include detached garages and third level bonus spaces.
Broker Laura Pope believes being close to the city center is a selling point.
“They are conveniently located in a prime location for buyers to enjoy the activities that downtown Napa has to offer,” said Pope.
At million dollar prices, the three units could set a record sale price for new homes in downtown Napa.
