Jim and Janice (Martini) Luce of Napa hosted a 50th anniversary reception and lunch on June 24 at Jonesy's Steakhouse. The grandchildren presented an interesting and amusing recap of the couple's past 50 years together. Special guests included the best man, maid of honor and all the groomsmen and bridesmaids from their wedding in 1956. Other guests included family and school friends from grammar school and Napa High School. The couple was married June 24, 1956, at St. John's Catholic Church in Napa. Both were born in Napa, where they have lived all their married life. Janice is a housewife and Jim is retired from Napa Police Dept. The couple's children are Timothy Luce and Michelle Luce of Napa.
