Elizabeth Bates and Kevin Rolli, both of Sacramento, announced their engagement with plans to marry July 29 at First Presbyterian Church in Napa. Barbara Bates of Napa is the bride's mother. Margaret and Wilfred Rankin are the bride's grandparents. She graduated from Vintage High School in 1988 and graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelor's degree in English in 1992. She is an account manager for Bloodsource, Sacramento.

The groom's parents are Phillip and Buena Rolli. The groom graduated from Highland High School in 1981. He received his bachelor's degree in information systems in 1986 from the University of Central Arkansas. He is a regional property manager at Ray Stone Inc. in Sacramento. He is involved in the Institution of Real Estate Management, the Rental Housing Authority and is a member of USTA.
