Traffic light's off

and Jefferson

Motorists should try to avoid the intersection of Jefferson and Trancas streets today when the traffic light will be shut down for repairs, said Barry Martin, a city spokesman.

The intersection will be a four-way stop all day as workers replace a signal control cabinet. Work is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. and may last as late as 5 p.m., he said./Register
