H is simple: Safety on Jamieson

Dear editor,

I'd like to give you a Mother/Grandmother slant on Measure H. Simply put: A centerline safety barrier on Jamieson Canyon Road.
It's a tremendous worry whenever family or friends have to travel Jamieson Canyon Road.

Too often, through overmedication, exhaustion, too much drinking or carelessness, approaching cars cross over the centerline, causing an almost always fatal accident. Just think what a godsend a centerline safety barrier would be. Isn't that peace of mind worth the price of a half-cent percent additional sales tax for the next 30 years? I think it is and that's one reason that I'm voting Yes on Proposition H.
An added plus for we seniors is a plan for public transportation choices for seniors including discounted fares and door-to-door transit service for those who can no longer drive.

Please, Napa County, don't blow it. Let's get those potholes fixed, save lives on Jamieson Canyon Road and help seniors to have a better quality of life. Vote yes on Measure H.
