Bridget Wiemels and Greg Manifold, both of Washington, D.C. announce their engagement with plans to marry June 17, 2006, at St. A's, with a reception to follow at Villagio in Yountville.

Bridget is the daughter of William and Christine Wiemels of Powell, Ohio. She graduated from Clarksville Academy in Clarksville, Tenn. in 1995 and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Rhode Island in 1999. She is employed as a graphic design specialist with Corporate Executive Board in Washington, D.C.

Greg is the son of Carole and Robert Murio of Napa and Jerry and Kathy Manifold of Brisbane, Australia. He is the grandson of Jean Kahn of Napa. Greg graduated from Vintage High School in 1994 and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1999. He is employed as the senior layout editor for the Washington Post sports department.
