Dear editor,

Regarding your recent endorsement of District Attorney Gary Lieberstein, I would like the public to know who they are voting for. I have worked in law enforcement for the last 31 years with the Napa Sheriff's Department, the Napa Police Department, and the Napa County District Attorney's Office. Currently, I am the supervising investigator with the District Attorney's Office.
I can say without a doubt that Gary is the only qualified candidate for the office of district attorney. I have worked half my law enforcement career in investigation bureaus. I have worked a lot of major crimes and spent considerable time working closely with Gary during the various prosecution stages. I have great respect for his ability as a successful prosecutor and have witnessed his countless hours preparing for his cases. He has proven himself to be a knowledgeable prosecutor and a tremendous fighter for the victims.

During my last five years working inside the district attorney's office, I have seen Gary's leadership and can personally state that he does a great job. Even with his busy schedule, he still finds time to listen to the individuals if they request a meeting with him. I have personally sat in on some of these meetings and witnessed his compassion for victims of crime. In closing, I want to state there is no other candidate with his knowledge, experience and commitment to public service.
