Walking the Labyrinth: a Sacred Space for Seekers
This is a free community event sponsored by Unity Church in Napa Valley on March 4, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Community Room, Napa Main Library, 580 Coombs St., Napa. Free parking and refreshments will be available. Rev. Lon Haack leads an exploration of the labyrinth and guides attendees in the meditative practice of walking a 24 ft. by 24 ft. labyrinth. Explore the
New Testament
Napa First Presbyterian Church presents this lecture series, running Wednesdays at 7 p.m. through April 12. It includes a historical overview to the 27 books of the New Testament. It will discuss such questions as who wrote these books, under what circumstances and for what audience. The video lecture series features Dr. Bart D. World Day of Prayer
World Day of Prayer is celebrated in more than 170 countries on March 3. People of all faiths are invited to this year's one-hour program about the AIDS crisis in South Africa. Older children are especially welcome.
