Doctor makes home visits to elderly Napans

For eight years, 82-year-old Yvonne Walker has struggled with Parkinson's disease. Unable to drive, clean her home or care for herself, she hired a caregiver, Sue Barstad, to help her out during the day.

Many skiers go into spasms of ecstasy when they hear the word powder. I myself had a much different take on this sport. During the '50s and '60, I remember my friend, Audy, saying, "Am I having fun yet?" as we both struggled to keep up with my husband. Her husband, a rotund fellow, was usually behind us lying in the snow crying about not having fun anymore and waiting for someone to help him out of the huge hole he'd made. At least Audy and I made an attempt to act like we were having fun and knew we were earning our apres ski drinks.
