the money
Dear editor,

The next few weeks will have a lot of news regarding Jack Abramoff and his associate, Michael Scanlon, who have contributed a large amount of tribal casino money to Washington politicians. On the Internet, you will be able to see the amounts of money our Washington representatives have received and also the amount the political action committees have received. It appears that these scoundrels gave more than $3.5 million since 1999 and 30 percent went to Democrats and 70 percent to Republicans. (They wanted to cover all political bases.) If you want to really see who received money, then go on the Internet. If you don't have a computer, then have your children find it and print copies for you to read. Web sites to see are www.capitaleye.org/abramoff.asp and to further your investigation, try www.fecinfo.com, another great Web site which covers much more.
