Donate blood at upcoming drives
A series of blood drives is planned at various locations in Napa beginning Monday. These are the first collection efforts since Blood Centers of the Pacific's Napa facility was damaged in the New Year's flood. The offices on Soscol Ave. remain closed until repairs can be completed.

St. Helena School District considers youth facility
The St. Helena Unified School District is considering adding a youth facility to be located at 1325 Adams St. The building will house activity rooms such as a learning center and game room. The facility will be used jointly by the St. Helena Unified School District and the Boys & Girls Club of St. Helena. A public review period for the Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration runs through Jan. 30. Any written comments on the Mitigated Negative Declaration must be received at the St. Helena Unified School District at 465 Main Street, St. Helena, CA 94574, within the public review period. Copies of the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Initial Study are available for review at the District Administrative office of the St. Helena Unified School District and at the St. Helena Public Library./Register
