Rebecca Lawrence of Napa and Matthew Parker of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., announce their engagement with a wedding planned for Jan. 6, 2006, in New Smyrna Beach.
Rebecca is the daughter of Gail Bins of Napa and Jerry Lawrence of Nevada City. She is the granddaughter of Phyllis and Robert Cramer of Napa. Rebecca graduated from New Technology High School in 1999 and earned an associate's degree from Community College of the Air Force in 2005. She is employed by the United States Air Force at Travis A.F.B. as a personnel systems manager.

Matthew is the son of Michael and De Ann Parker of New Smyrna Beach. He is a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School, class of 2002, and is employed by the United States Air Force at Dyess A.F.B. as a jet engine technician.
