The most valuable jewels of Waldorf Method Charter School -- self-made lesson plan books -- were being dried with a hair dryer this week in one of the rooms that didn't get flooded during Friday's storm.

Officials Tuesday warned that serious health hazards may lurk in the wake of weekend flooding.
