I would like to add some things to the story you covered about the Christmas wonders that happened at the Samaritan Family Shelter, ("Firefighters spend Christmas Day giving presents to Napa children," Dec. 26). I have first hand experience of what it feels like to lose my home and find myself afraid about what my kids will feel when they realize they have no place of their own. The emotions a family goes through when this happens are intense and frightening.
