Rugg-McAlister

Residents of Rancho Cordova, Courtney Rugg and Andrew McAlister, were married Oct. 2, 2005, at the Woodside Seventh-day Adventist Church. Bagpipes played outside as guests entered the church.
Courtney's matron of honor was Shara Torres and her bridesmaids were Elizabeth Wilson, Alisha Larkin and Angela Stephenson. Chad Chaney was the best man and the groomsmen were Brandon Rugg, Darrell Juarez and Terry McCoy. Gwendolyn VonDolen was the flower girl.

The couple held their reception at Arden Hills Country Club and honeymooned on the Hawaiian Islands of Maui and Oahu for 10 days.
The bride is the daughter of David and Victoria Rugg of Napa and the granddaughter of Robert and Norma Rugg of Napa and Don and Elaine Juarez of St. Helena. Courtney graduated from Vintage High School in 1998 and earned a master's degree in social work from California State University at Sacramento in 2005. She is employed by Agape Villages Foster Family Agency in Sacramento as a social worker.

The groom is the son of Terry and Pamela McCoy of Granite Bay. Andrew graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1996 and earned a bachelor's degree in technical management from DeVry University. He is employed by Atronic Americas in Sacramento as a field service technician.
The couple make their new home together in Rancho Cordova.
