The Napa Valley Symphony presents its 2005 Holiday Concert with the Voices of London on Dec, 4, at 3 p.m. at the newly refurbished Lincoln Theater in Yountville. The program includes selections from Handel's "Messiah," "Los Reyes Siguen l'Estrella," "Nio Dios d'Amor Herido," and "Todo Quanto Pudo Dar" by Guerrero, followed by Bennett's "Five Carols" and Rutter's "Sans Day Carol" and "Noel Nouvelet."

The symphony, under the direction of Asher Raboy, will also be featured in orchestral selections including the Toy Symphony.
Tickets are $32 for adults and $16 for children/students and are available by calling 226-8742 or at www.napavalleysymphony.org.

Voices of London made their professional debut in 1970 under the name of the Scholars, and have given more than 2,500 concerts in more than 50 countries -- a record rivaled by very few ensembles in the field of chamber music. They have performed in many of the world's most recognized concert halls, from New York's Lincoln Center, London's Royal Festival Hall and the Sydney Opera House to smaller, more intimate venues such as the Wigmore Hall in London and the Brahmssaal in Vienna.
Their sparkling performances, often enlivened by humorous commentary, are acclaimed by critics and audiences alike. Robin Doveton is a founding member and Kym Amps, Angus Davidson and Simon Grant (an ex-chorister of King's) joined in 1983, 1986 and 2004 respectively.
